        2)  This works out to $20,928 profit every minute!

        3)  Wal-Mart will sell more from January 1 to St.. Patrick’s Day (March 17th) than Target sells all year.

        4)  Wal-Mart is bigger than Home Depot + Kroger + Target + Sears + Costco + K-Mart combined.

        5)  Wal-Mart employs 1.6 million people and is the largest private Employer, and most speak English.

        6)  Wal-Mart is the largest company in the history of the World.

        7)  Wal-Mart now sells more food than Kroger & Safeway combined, and keep in mind they did this in only 15 years.

        8)  During this same period, 31 Supermarket Chains sought bankruptcy.

        9)  Wal-Mart now sells more food than any other store in the world.

        10)  Wal-Mart has approx 3,900 stores in the USA of which 1,906 are Super Centers; this is 1,000 more than it had 5 Years ago.

        11)  This year 7.2 billion different purchasing experiences will occur At a Wal-Mart store.  (Earth’s population is approximately 6.5 Billion.)

        12)  90% of all Americans live within 15 miles of a Wal-Mart.

        You  may think that I am complaining, but I am really laying the ground work for suggesting that MAYBE we should hire the guys who run Wal-Mart
To fix the economy because the idiots in Washington sure as hell can’t.

It is said that one grasshopper on the railroad tracks wouldn’t slow a train very much, a billion of them would. 

In our current economic situation, every little thing we buy or do affects someone else – even their job .  Everyone keeps saying “what can I do to help the economic situation?”  Well make sure your buying American made Products and hiring American based people when for services.  I know that even in my own business, Website Designing, I am competing against work being outsourced overseas.  Don’t wait for the government to bail us out!  Do your part in making America great again!

Have you noticed that Hershey’s candy is now made in Mexico? 

Did you know Colgate is also made in Mexico? 

To know this you would have to read the labels. 

Now Crest is made in the USA if you read the label.

Next time you go to Walmart or the grocery store or even buy products online and check out your name brand stuff. 

Do what this lady did when she went to buy light bulbs and dryer sheets:

This past weekend I was at Kroger. (Can be true for any store.)  I needed 60 W light bulbs and Bounce dryer sheets . I was in the light bulb aisle, and right next to the GE brand I normally buy was an off brand labeled, “Everyday Value . ” I picked up both types of bulbs and compared the stats – they were the same except for the price . The GE bulbs were more money than the Everyday Value brand but the thing that surprised me the most was the fact that GE was made in MEXICO and the Everyday Value brand was made in – get ready for this – the USA in a company in Cleveland , Ohio .

So throw out the myth that you cannot find products you use every day that are made right here .

So on to another aisle – Bounce Dryer Sheets . . . yep, you guessed it, Bounce cost more money and is made in Canada . The Everyday Value brand was less money and MADE IN THE USA! I did laundry yesterday and the dryer sheets performed just like the Bounce Free I have been using for years and at almost half the price!

 I can verify this because I was in Lowe’s the other day for some reason and just for the heck of it I was looking at the hose attachments . They were all made in China . The next day I was in Ace Hardware and just for the heck of it I checked the hose attachments there . They were made in USA . Start looking .

My challenge to you is to start reading the labels when you shop for everyday things and see what you can find that is made in the USA – the job you save may be your own or your neighbors!

Peanuts and Cracker Jacks. You’ll still find a prize in a box of Cracker Jacks, introduced in 1896 in Chicago, Illinois.

Jack Daniels, introduced in Lynchburg, Tennessee, in 1866.
Support American farmers by trying cheese from Cabot Creamery, a collective of 1,350 farms from the Northeastern states.
