Former New York City Mayor Giuliani said that Sarah Palin was more qualified to be president. He citied Palin’s executive experience, saying of her, “She’s vetoed legislation, she’s taken on corruption, and in her party, and won. She took on the oil companies and won. She administered a budget successfully.” He went on to compare Obama to Palin by saying, “He’s never run a city, he’s never run a state, he’s never run a business, he’s never administered a payroll, he’s never led people in crisis”. He also stated, if Sarah Palin had been president when the U.S. came under attack on September 11, 2001, he’s confident she would have been able to handle the crisis.
On Political positions she opposed the 2010 health care reform package, saying it would lead to rationing of health care by a bureaucracy, which she described using the term “death panels”. She has called marijuana use a “minimal issue” and suggested that arresting cannabis users should be a low priority for local police, though she opposes legalizing the substance. Palin believes evolution “should be taught as an accepted principle” and said that her belief in God’s role in Earth’s creation “is not part of the state policy or a local curriculum in a school district. Science should be taught in science class. Palin interprets the Second Amendment as including the right to handgun possession and opposes bans on semi-automatic assault weapons. She supports gun safety education for youth. Palin considers herself a conservationist. In a September 9, 2015 speech, she said, “Only in an Orwellian Obama world full of sparkly fairy dust blown from atop his unicorn as he’s peeking through a pretty pink kaleidoscope would he ever see victory or safety for America or Israel in this treaty.”
She writes books like Going Rogue: An American Life, in which she details her private and political career, including her resignation as Governor of Alaska and the 2nd was America by Heart which contains excerpts from Palin’s favorite speeches, sermons and literature as well as portraits of people Palin admires, including some she met in rural America on her first book tour.
Where this is not everything about Sarah Palin I think it is a good start into showing why I think she would make a GREAT President. So tell me what you think.
