Unbiased News?
I’ve been sitting around for a time wondering what I can complain about. I have not listened to the talking heads from any network for several months and only tried to find actual world news presented in an unbiased fashion. It is virtually impossible to achieve this goal.
I do however, watch CNBC in order to track my stocks. This channel actually gives you a feel for how the economy is doing and what is causing it to stall or move forward. They say the market leads the actual economic movement. I don’t know about that, what I do know is that billions of retail buyers have left the market and many are not coming back simply because our government and its policies are so unstable.
It doesn’t seem to matter to this administration that millions of us have our retirement dollars in the market, they continue to claim all businesses are evil and should run as a break even organization and give the profit to the government so it can dole it out as it sees fit.
I guess the point of all my rambling is, the government should not be creating demons and should be working with business by creating regulations and tax laws that make sense and are consistent. Positive statements by the President instead of name calling, blame placing or demonizing would go a long way towards stabilizing the market and the business environment.

The Common Man: I am just that, someone who spent 30 plus years working for the government as a mid-level manager and program manager. This forum allows me to have a voice and share my concerns. I have been a voting member of the silent majority my entire adult life, now however it seems voting is not enough and being silent is a bad idea. Why do we care more about money than the survival of the human race. You should be ashamed of yourself for promoting Prop 23. This perversion will destroy any chance your children will have to survive. SHAME on YOU for giving this earth to your child. SHAME on YOU for allowing and supporting the destruction of our Livlihoods. SHAME on YOU for not respecting GOD’s Earth. SHAME on YOU for not allowing America to progress in society. SHAME on YOU for allowing coporate money to purchase your soul. The truth is climate change is real and AB 32 is only a small change compared to what needs to happen. I believe we need to go further than AB 32 and promote new clean technology/ innovations to bring America to the forefront of this emerging Economy. Just as Oil was the emerging economy century ago Clean Energy will bring us out of the economy. It is the Oil Companies not small businesses that want to pass Prop 23, so understand the importance of AB 32 and vote No on 23.
Brian, the title of this blog has nothing to do with prop 23, if you read the blog you will find no mention of prop 23 in here. You are just another example of a liberal not reading the material and then running your mouth. I am glad you have an opinion but you should direct it towards the correct website.
The Constitution, with it’s original meanings and intentions, no longer exists. It has been carefully edited over the years by and for an elite group to harvest the wealth and power of these United States. The undermining of the peoples basic inalienable rights as afforded and defined in the Constitution has been suttle, but thorough. Our economic and social welfare is being manipulated by holders of vast amounts of wealth and power. They are comprised of money-hungry corporations, banks, and non-profit organizations, both US and foreign, and are supported by our government through legislation, and with our tax dollars. The sad part is that the average youth of today hasn’t a clue to what’s going on. Nor do they care. Oblivious. History will record us somewhere between the Roman Empire and the Egyptian Empire.
When future archeologists start digging they won’t find any gold covered sarcophagi, Roman chariots, or Incan treasure, just lots and lots of plastic.
