Secret Senate Health Bill Released: 2000 Pages? This is Crap!!

I am outraged! Harry Reed produces a bill of over 2000 pages, keeps it a secret until the last minute and calls for a Saturday late night vote. How can anyone read and analyze this Frankenstein?  I would take at least six month to read and analyze this bill. You should be outraged that Harry Reed expects you to just trust him to take care of your health needs. You should be outraged this was done in secret. You should be outraged at the lack of respect for the American people demonstrated by Harry Reed.

We need to stop and think, this bill is double the House Bill, no one even knows what is in this thing. You can bet no Senator can read it in time to vote. What are we getting? Why the big secret? We the people need to stop this monster just on principle. This is the time to say STOP the nonsense, give us an honest reform bill that will work for us.

I am sick and tired of the House and Senate leadership thinking they run this country! It is time to send them  home to their respective states and get them out of their positions of power. They are making a sham of “government for the people, by the people”. What are we the people thinking when we send this type of representative to Washington year after year? Come on folks, It really does matter what is in these bills, it effects all of us and there is no free lunch here.

I guess size does matter to our leadership, no one will read this thing in the time allowed. This bill will grow to over 3000 pages by the time it is reconciled with the house version and all the amendments are added. Will anyone read that thing?

There is one element of the bill that has been reported. Tax on cosmetic surgery. I think a tax on any medical procedure is an outrage! It is just another way to get their grubby hands in our pocket and take our money! Do you actually think any of this nonsense will make our health care system better? I believe this is ideology gone wild.

We need to flood the Senate switchboard with calls. We need to choke the Senate email server with email. We need to slow them down and give us time to see what this bill is going to do for us.

If we don’t act now we will have to live with whatever they pass for years and years to come. Don’t kid yourself, very few laws get “fixed” after they are passed. This is doesn’t even qualify as a political move, this is just an outrage. Come on my liberal friends look at this carefully, don’t let them ram this through because you think you are finally going to get health care fixed, insist on knowing what you are getting.
