The piece is just fantastic, I love it and I think it is right on the money. We need more of this. Unfortunately it was NOT authored by Andy Rooney. I thought I should let you know in case you get back some sort of negative response. You can check this on this page

I totally agree with what was said, it is time to stand up and be counted. But the posting is actully an adaptation of the work of Nicolas Gholson in a piece he did on the prohibition of prayer at school sponcered sporting events many years ago. Please do some checking and you will find this to be true. I have nothing against Andy Rooney, and suspect he would not be above or afraid to make such comments, but in this case as far as I konw he did not
